A200 Economy Drinking Water System

The AquaKinetic A200 RO system is Kinetico's basic RO system. It will provide you with good, clean, Kinetico reverse osmosis drinking water, just like the Kinetico K5, but without the advanced options of the K5. We provide this option for people who still want the guarenteed quality of reverse osmosis water, but are looking to find a unit that is more within their budget.

What the A200 includes:
  • Quick Disconnect filter cartridges - make for easy and sanitary change of filters.
  • High Performance Reverse Osmosis Membrane - produces higher quality water at a faster rate, so the water is ready when you need it.
  • Automatic Shutoff - conserves water by shutting off the system when the storage tank is full. Production is automatically reactivated on demand.
  • Space-Saving design - easy installation with a unit that will not take up all the space under your sink!
What the A200 does not include:
*these features are included on the K5
  • MACguardR filter - alerts you when it is time to change your filter.
  • QuickFloR storage tank - uses your home's water pressure to deliver a strong, consistent stream of drinking water from the faucet.
  • EverCleanR rinse - cleans the system's membrane with reverse osmosis water to ensure consistently high quality water, while extending the life of the membrane and saving you money.
  • FlexFiltrationR options - additional cartridges to customize your system.

What this means:

The A200 is still certified Kinetico equipment, and will provide you with quality water, it just doesn't come with as many features. Without the MACguardR, there is no way to tell when your filter needs to be changed, you will just need to remember to change the filter once a year. This could cause you to under-use or, in some cases, over-use your filter. Also, without the QuickFloR tank, you will not get the same water pressure you would with the K5. There is also a shorter warantee on the A200 (2 years, as opposed to 4 years for the K5).
