Gene graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Masters Degree in Geology. He then went on to receive his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and did post-doc work at Princeton University in New Jersey. Before moving to North Carolina, Gene worked as a Senior Research Engineer at Molten Metal Technology, Inc. in Fall River, MA. He followed that up as Lab Manager with Cookson Electronics, as part of their new synergistic Lab facility in Foxboro, MA.

Gene joined the family business in 2002 with a passion for educating people about their water, and helping them to make the best decisions possible for improving their water quality. He and his family moved to the Raleigh area four years ago and have helped the Raleigh division of Advanced Water Systems to thrive. Gene, an educator and scientist at heart, has a real talent for explaining water chemistry problems and the innovative Kinetico equipment to his customers. He strives to spread the knowledge of water quality and its importance, and to give personalized customer service to every Kinetico owner.

 

Pete is originally from Racine, Wisconson. He relocated to the Raleigh area in 2002. In 2005, he attended  Wake Tech Community College where he earned his degree in the Plumbing program. He also has his plumber's certification. He has been a part of AWS-SENC since early 2006 and has proved an invaluable part of the team. His talent for troubleshooting water problems as well as his friendly and professional nature make him a real asset for Advanced Water Systems. Pete is always willing to help and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your water.
